Point Seven: Guidelines of Training the Mind

Slogan 39. Focus on one thing.
Slogan 40. Correct all wrongs.
Slogan 41. Examine your intention upon getting up and upon going to bed.
Slogan 42. If you do not achieve your intention, be patient.
Slogan 43. Focus on your intention, even at the risk of your life.
Slogan 44. Recognize your neurosis as neurosis; do not do what you always
have done; make this practice a way of life.
Slogan 45. Recognize how you react; develop a plan for working on that;
work on it until the reaction goes away.
Slogan 46. Never stop doing this.
Slogan 47. Never stop doing all three at the same time.
Slogan 48. Practice, practice, keeping an open mind.
Slogan 49. Always meditate on whatever makes you resentful.
Slogan 50. Don’t be swayed by external circumstances.
Slogan 51. This time, do these slogans!
Slogan 52. Don’t misinterpret.
Slogan 53. Don’t be wishy-washy.
Slogan 54. Train with all your heart.
Slogan 55. Liberate yourself by examining and analyzing.
Slogan 56. Don’t wallow in self-pity.
Slogan 57. Don’t be jealous.
Slogan 58. Don’t be frivolous.
Slogan 59. Don’t expect applause.
